'Why did I come here again?'




Netherlands thought bitterly as he wrapped his scarf around his neck tightly as he strode through the streets of [Country Name]. His younger sister, Laura, or also known as the representative of Belgium, had encouraged him to travel to [Country Name] to get the feel of a whole new environment. She even offered him that he could stay at the apartment that she owned there, which he gladly agreed to. He was confident that it would go smoothly but it seemed that the world was looking down at him at the moment as heavy snow and harsh winds surrounded him completely. He stopped in his tracks as another strong gust of cold wind sliced past his form. He sighed. He was completely lost. Who knew the streets of [Country Name] were so confusing!?




He sighed once more as he leaned on a wall that was the closet to him and panted heavily. If only he knew that the weather was going to be like this, he would've just stayed in his clean, warm home. Netherlands wrapped his arms around his body, in hopes of getting extra heat from them but with no avail. Even though he was a country himself the cold was getting the better of him. His posture wavered as he felt a sudden wave of dizziness wrack his body. He put a cold hand to his forehead as he stood up properly. His vision had began to blur as he saw a figure walking up to him. The figure was a [Height] boy that had [Hair Length] [Hair Colour] covered by a beige winter cap and seemingly glowing [Eye Colour] eyes. Netherlands then lost the remaining strength he had left in his legs as he collapsed to the snow covered road. The last thing he saw was the owner of the figure running to his fallen body.







Netherlands shifted slightly as his body began to regain it's senses and was met, surprisingly, by warmth. He then opened his eyes just to close them as they were met by light. He blinked his green eyes several times get used to it. Once he fully opened his eyes, they were met by a pair of concerned [Eye Colour] eyes staring back at him. Surprised, he quickly propped himself up causing a cloth to fall of from his forehead. He then took notice that he was in nothing but his blue shirt and beige pants wore when he came to [Country Name]. Taking no mind to that, he picked the cloth and concluded that the boy had took care of him when he was unconscious.




"Sir, are you alright?"



A voice said, snapping Netherlands from his train of thoughts. He looked at the [Hair Colour] hair boy in front of him and studied him over. He looked like the person he had last seen before he passed out and he also looked was still in his teen ages. A cute teen too.



"..Yes, I'm fine. I take you're the one who nursed me back to health?" Netherlands asked bluntly making the boy nod his head slightly and tilt his head in a cute way.




Netherlands blushed slightly then reached to his jacket, that lay besides him neatly folded on a chair, and took out wallet and stared at the boy in front of him.




"I'd like to show you my gratitude. How much would you like? Is 3000 dollars enough? Or maybe you want 4000?" Netherlands said making the boy flinch and stare at him wide eyed.



In an instance, the boy in front of him began to shake his head furiously while waving his hands in front of him.




"U-Um! There's n-no need!" The boy cried making Netherlands' eyebrow twitch.



"Nonsense. I hate being in dept to people so just take my money.(Tadashi: I really don't know how else to put it xD) How much do you want? Tell me. At least let me do something in return for you kindness." Netherlands said and grabbed the boy's shoulders softly while staring at him.




"If you have dinner with me, then that's fine. The food is ready on the table." The boy blushed and simply stated making Netherlands look at him in surprise.




"..What's your name?" Netherlands asked releasing the boy.




"I'm [Name]. How about you sir?" [Name] asked.



"I'm Nethe- Abel." I replied. I knew he wouldn't believe I was a country even if I told him so I just told him my real name.



The boy, [Name] smiled at me making my heart leap. His smile is just too adorable. HE was too adorable.


'No! He's just a teen! I'm near my 30's already! I can't think of him that way!' Netherlands scolded himself as he stared at [Name].



"It's nice to meet you Abel. You can stay here as much as you find suit and I hope you like your stay if you do." [Name] said as e smiled once again. "Dinner's on the table. Come out when whenever you want." he said as he exited the room Netherlands lay. He sighed as he removed the blankets from his body and propped his legs from the side of the bed. He then stood up and exited the room and closed the door behind himself to see the living room and kitchen. [Name] was carrying the food from the kitchen and put it on the glass table in the living room.



"I hope the food's to your liking. I'm sorry if it's not that much. I didn't expect you to awaken today." [Name] said sheepishly while rubbing the back of his neck.




'...What?' Netherlands thought.




"What do you mean by that? How long was I out?" Netherlands asked making [Name] look at him.




"You were out for 3 days straight, Abel. I was really considering to send you to a hospital if it wasn't for the weather." He said making Abel gasp. He was out for 3 days straight. Now he was truly greatful to [Name]. If he wasn't around he would've been turned into ice by now.




"Let's put that asides for now. Come and eat so you'll regain energy." [Name] said kindly to him with a smile and sat down and gestured to him to take a seat.




Netherlands sat down and ate with [Name]. They happily chatted while eating and began to get to know each other more and more. Throughout their conversation, Netherlands' heart would stop beating as he watched [Name] laugh in front of him at a funny event that happened in a conference meeting he went. Netherlands' making sure not to say 'World' conference meeting. After a few minutes later, Netherlands and [Name] finished eating and they sat on the couch watching some movie. Netherlands then looked at the clock, and saw that it was 12:45 am. He sighed quietly. He needed to go to his apartment so he could set it up. He sighed again and looked at [Name] with saddened eyes.




[Name] noticed him staring so he turned to ask what was wrong, only to be stopped by warm lips being placed on his own. Confused by the gesture, he pulled back. Netherlands looked at [Name] if fear that he had just messed up his short relation with the [Hair Colour] haired boy. Said boy just tilted his head confusion written on his [Skin Colour] face.




"W..What did you just do?" He asked making Netherlands confused himself.



"What do you mean?"



"Your lips. You put them on mine right? What did you just do?"




Netherlands then froze. [Name] was so pure he didn't know what a simple kiss was. Now he felt flustered. He was happy he kissed him but was also sad [Name] didn't know the act of affection he just did. Now he was debating if he should tell him or not.




"Umm.. I ki..kissed you." He managed to squeeze out.




"What's that?"



"I-It's an act of affection to show someone you like them."



"Oh."



[Name] stared at Netherlands for a while before smiling brightly.





"If that's the case, I love you too!"

Netherlands was in shock. You had just kissed him. On the LIPS. The thought kept repeating in his mind over and over again. [Name] stared at him in confusion as he slid deeper into the couch while covering his face with one hand. He was blushing. He was blushing in both happiness and embarrassment. Even his ears were turning red.





[Name] just laughed as he brought one leg on the couch and hugged it. Maybe Netherlands could stay a bit longer after all.
